Pre-Sales Engineer

Job Overview:

The Presales Engineer is responsible for supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise, preparing technical proposals, and delivering presentations that demonstrate how our solutions meet customer needs. The role bridges the gap between customer requirements and the technical capabilities of the company, ensuring successful pre-sales activities and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support for Sales Activities:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and propose tailored solutions.
  • Develop and deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations for clients.
  • Prepare detailed technical proposals, including system architecture and solution designs.
  • Address client inquiries related to technical aspects, ensuring all concerns are resolved.

Requirement Analysis & Solution Design:

  • Analyze customer requirements, business processes, and challenges to recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Work closely with the product and engineering teams to ensure proposed solutions align with technical capabilities.
  • Create proof-of-concept (PoC) demonstrations to showcase solution functionality.

Customer Engagement & Relationship Management:

  • Act as a technical consultant to clients during the pre-sales process.
  • Participate in client meetings, providing technical insights and expertise.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Document customer requirements, solution designs, and meeting outcomes for reference and project continuity.
  • Provide detailed reports on technical discussions and feedback from clients to internal stakeholders.

Market Research & Training:

  • Stay updated on the latest technologies, industry trends, and competitors.
  • Train sales team members on technical aspects of products and solutions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience in a presales or technical support role. (3 Years)
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong technical and communication skills. 
    • Familiarity with system architecture, cloud computing, and software integration.
    • Ability to create technical diagrams and presentations using tools like Visio or PowerPoint.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
