Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant will oversee critical accounting operations, including financial reporting, audits, compliance, and strategic budgeting. This role demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles to support Engosoft’s growth and profitability.
- Accounting Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely Accountint statements, including balance sheets, income statements,
- Month-End Close: Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring all entries are complete and reconciliations are
- accurate.
- Account Reconciliation: Perform detailed account reconciliations and maintain general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and
- adherence to accounting standards.
- Internal Controls: Develop, maintain, and enhance internal controls
- to ensure financial data accuracy and safeguard company assets.
- Tax & Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial policies, local and international accounting standards, and tax regulations. Prepare and assist with tax filings and audit documentation.
- Audit Support: Coordinate with internal and external auditors,
- preparing necessary documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience: At least 5 years in accounting, preferably in Education industry
- Skills: Proficiency with software like Excel, ERP System.
- Mindset: A proactive team player with excellent communication skills and an analytical, problem-solving approach.
